Mahogany back & sides, Ivoroid top binding, Ebony fingerboard & bridge, solid Ebony bridge pins, 1 3/4'' Ebony nut, 2 1/4'' string spacing, thru saddle, "Golden Age" tuners with black buttons, B/W/B inlaid rosette and vertical "Waterloo" logo on solid peghead. A real pleasure to play with outstanding power and balance even with the recommended .11-.52 string set. Very responsive and light weight that really delivers. Great looking and sounding instrument. Very good condition - Scalloped brace model with outstanding power & balance. Original pickguard, 1 11/16'' nut width, Rosewood bridge & fingerboard, thru saddle, replica tuners whith Ivoroid buttons, very thin finish check below the treble side of bridge, (not thru the wood) small patch on rim on top of treble side, (barely noticeable) regular playing wear as nicks, dings, scratches etc. Great sounding and playing guitar for either fingerpicking, flatpicking, song writing or any style you choose. This little guy is not bashful. Priced with no original hard case.

Martin 2004 D-45 Mike Longworth Commemorative Signature Edition #4 of 91

Mint - This guitar belonged to Mike's brother and all the documentation is included. In honor of Mike and his many contributions to Martin for almost 30 years, this special D-45 was made to his favorite preferences on the original D-45 of which were only 91 made. Premium tone woods were used as Martin's finest Adirondack Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood, polished EIR headstock overlay, "C.F. Martin" script logo in mother of pearl, Martin torch from the 30's in Abalone pearl, "Golden Era" snowflake inlay in Mother of pearl Abalone on the fingerboard and Mike's famous "L" between the 19th and 20th frets. This is a special D-45 in many aspects especially sound. Full of older tone, balance, power, clarity and response. The low end is deep and warm but not muddy, midrange is punchy and smooth and the high end is clear and precise. One of the finest sounding modern built Martin guitars you will play with spectacular beauty and charisma. A highly collectable piece of history that honors a great individual as Mike Longworth.
